What is Meditation?

Meditation isn’t about clearing your mind, it's about

  • noticing your thoughts,

  • how you feel, and

  • coming into one flow of perception.

Research and studies on meditation have proven to show practicing meditation:

From the moment that Claire graced the stage, I was completely engaged with her angelic aura and the message she was there to deliver. She began the session with silence, for some maybe an uncomfortable one, but what a powerful way to start.

I thought I knew how to meditate.

I had used Headspace, Calm, Insight Timer and other guided meditations on YouTube. I even went to a Buddhist meditation retreat.

All of these were great but I was never consistent and always wondered if I was doing it wrong. I work ridiculously long hours, have had a breakdown in the past and I know that self care is super important for my mental health. I just couldn’t seem to reach that holy grail of clearing my mind.

It was only after learning to meditate with Claire that I really felt the power of my practice. Claire took away a lot of the ‘rules’ I thought existed about meditation and made it simple and easy.I followed her live meditations in her facebook group at first and both cried and laughed. I loved how real she is and how different the practice was. Crying with happiness at her gratitude meditations was a highlight.

For my birthday last year I gifted myself Claire’s online Meditation Programme. We were in lockdown before Christmas and that Monday evening appointment to share with likeminded people and then meditate daily sent my stress levels plummeting in a way nothing else had worked.

I also attended Claire’s in person programme in the Summer which was such a gorgeous experience. Claire taught me a specific way to get into my meditations (breath of fire) and WOW! This no longer feels like I’m ticking off a habit on a self care list. I feel free, happy and so ridiculously calm. I’ll admit it took me a couple of starts to commit to the daily practice but once I did there was no stopping me.
